H&R Sports springs with stock sport struts???
If you're just anxious to get the car dropped, but don't mind removing the suspension again when you get new struts, then I'd say go ahead and install them, you'll be ditching your struts anyways, why not use them up?
In another respect, it's not a good idea permanently. The OEM struts are not able to handle the spring rate and height difference of the H&R's for a long duration, remember the shock piston will now be used more frequently in a range that it currently most likely only saw when you hit hard bumps, and will eventually give out, your car will ride like hell, and the springs will be doing more work to keep the car in line.
I've installed many sets of springs locally on cars that retained the stock struts, and within a couple of months the owners were complaining about the ride, which was discussed with them prior to installation of the aftermarket springs.
It's definately possible though, and it's not QUITE as bad as most people make it sound, but it's not a generally good idea.
Hope this helps you,
Take care!
