99 A6 Avant LATCH for infant seat help needed
Hello,
I called the dealer and they stated that the free LATCH program was discontinued a year ago. They told me that they could install for approx. $250. Could anyone tell me whether I could just order the parts and install by myself? If so, can someone post part numbers?

I got the lower latch anchors from Shokan for $85 and installed them >
myself on my A4. I should be the same on the A6.
Give them a call and see if they have them.
They attach with 2 bolts each. Not hard to do, just remove the seat bottom and you can bolt them on.

Crooked dealer. The parts for the lower latch tether are about $50. Takes about 5 minutes to install
each side. The holes are already there on all C5's, although cleverly covered with tape. Look for the holes just above where the seatback and cushion come together. The program was actually discontinued in Jan.

Are you out in the sticks somewhere, or is this a metro location? One thing for sure,
you only need to loosen the seat cushion, don't need to disconnect any wiring. You'll have to push up slightly on the seatback, and the tape is not hard to locate. Do you need a page copy of the Bentley?
