this should make 4driver4 shake his fists
A shop that has a website posted some photos of a few different repair jobs they do. This shop seems to specialize in eurocars. Look at the pics for the a6 2.8 timing belt change.
First, in one picture, it looks like the motor isn't even at TDC.
The cams aren't secured at all. And the marks look amateur at best.
Edit : I just noticed in one pic they have a cam locking bar sitting ontop of the engine... But I'm guessing they didn't break the cam gears free since they made the marks on them. You can see a cam gear has been rotated off its mark in a picture... Why not leave the locking bar on the whole time?
They took the headlights out, which baffles me. It's so easy to just rotate the radiator support completely.
If a shop is taking your money for maintenance you'd hope they'd do it by the book. I'm glad I do all my stuff myself.<ul><li><a href="http://www.atlanticmotorcar.com/service_photo_gallery.htm">here</a></li></ul>

Obviously no tools being used. How will he change the cam seals? And where are the headlights? Why take those out? And what are the vice grips crimping? And notice the valve cover gasket leaking? What about that? Planning on fixing it? If so, the cam adjuster seals should be done too.
