Default recall vs. service action

so i get the call just now from lisa at AofA and she tells me they won't cover the throttle body replacement cause it is a service action and not recall and since i'm in germany service action is more or less a customer satisfaction issue? whats up with that? i'm a customer and will not be satisfied till its fixed and for free! will keep posting with updates and a note from epstein's mother... anybody remember that?

Default Then get used to not being satisfied. Audi customer service sucks.

A recall is forever, a service action generally has a time limit.

Default "twice as far with a chocolate bar..." Yeah, Audi customer service sucks the BIG one - take it from

someone who had to sue their a$$ to get my dealer to actually fix stuff. For the most part they don't care - why? Because sales are at an all-time record level and until those figures start to drop there is not reason to try and keep existing customers happy. (Must have a lot of ex-GM guys up in AoA HQ.)

Sorry to hear, but unfortunately this is nothing new with AoA.

Default the car is nice but AOA and most dealers(from my experience) really suck *** too...I'm sure sales ar

e up because people like us keeping feeding money into the company and make it look like these cars are the best things since sliced bread...so that's why I'm supporting independent shops now and having all non warranty work done there...that's the only way some little smuck like myself can stick it to Audi as they care nothing for me...;0

Default Fully agree and I will not even buy parts from my dealer, let alone have service done there.

Non-warranty work being done at indy shop!
