2000 Audi A6 2.7T for $9,000
The service record is paramount. And remember the old adage that you get what you pay for! Do your homework both on the model, and the specific car. $100 inspection at a reputable independent Audi specialist is always well worth it.
$400 for 4 new tires
$950 for TB service including thermostat, tensioner, etc.
$350 for left and right cv boot
$300 for left axle replacement
So my original $8100 car is now over $10,000.
No matter how detailed you look at the car, something will come up after you take possession. A really strange phenomena. I'll call it the Audi Law.
Hence, be prepared to spend some $$$ after you purchase the car. Probably $1500 to $2000. But at least you know that the work is done. Also, find yourself a good trustworthy independent repair shop if you are not a DIY.
