For those with the APR Bi-Pipe...
I am at the point now of doing some items as I am above 80K now. The TBB and DV's are next on my list. I am wondering if those who use the APR pipe are happy with the purchase. I will be chipping the car in the next month or so finally, but would like to do the TBB and DV's before that.
Any thoughts? I know I am not going stock, but wanted to weigh my options. Just not sure the APR part will be a good bang for the buck over the less expensive alts. As far as the DV's, I am going to just do the 710N's for $37 a pop.

I've had the bi-pipe installed for two years now. No complaints at all. However, I know plenty of people that have just purchased the kevlar TBB and been quite happy.
For that matter, the TBB is only $12 and don't split as often as folks say (IMHO). Unless of course you are chipped and definitely Kevlar or Bi-pipe for Stg III setups. Maybe just having a spare lying around is a good option?

I don't have it but it looks like a good product. I was thinking of getting it last weekend at the
Waterfest. APR had some great deals. But I ended up only buying their snub mount. Maybe next year I will get it.

Get the Bi-Pipe. We spend $1,000's on this car and bitch about $300 for a part
that should have been there from the start. The bi-pipe gives you peace of mind, that you never have to worry about a stupid piece of rubber that can cost you more in the long run.

I got it when I was in the same situation as you- at 75k, wanted to chip and need to do
some major work (water pump and belts). Also went with the 710n's from the forge dv valves. No complaints.
Now that I'm running Stg3+, it is even better. The car is now over 155k miles and haven't had a single problem.

Accept no substitutes! After having a kevlar wrapped TBB pop off at the worst possible time...
I switched to the bi-pipe. Yes, many have good luck with Samcos, etc. However, ask yourself what the cost of a TBB failure is. New turbos, etc. are a lot more expensive than a bi-pipe
