Help fix my air conditioning problems!

Hello,

I've had problems with my air conditioning the past two summers. I've had it charged twice and it still has problems. It seems on hot days 90+ degrees it will blow cold air but then my themometer goes almost 1 tick away from H and it starts blowing hot air. If I turn it off it goes almost to the middle and it goes cool again. Sometimes it has nothing to do with the temp gauge and just blows hot air. I went to the shop that did the recharge last month and they said either there is something blocking a pipe or there is an electronics problem. Even though the temp gauge goes close to H I never see any kind of smoke or anything from the car. I'm wondering if the engine temp sensor is not working and so when it gets to H the a/c cuts off. Also my oil sensor is not working as well. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Step 1: Change the coolant temp sensor.

I have a feeling all of my temp sensors are broken. Is there a guide to changing the oil temp sensor? Is that the same thing as the coolant temp sensor? Thanks

Nope.

GENUINE PART
A/C TEMP SWITCH
AIR DISTRIBUTION
TEMP SENSOR

That sensor is some AC part. You need the coolant temp sensor.
