CareyBrad and AudikillsBMW: Headlight pics
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/106705/headlight_mod.jpg"></center><p>had to let my camera charge. i didnt know how to post multiple pix so i put all the pics into one pic. i removed the hazard reflecter since the bulb is already orange. the orange u see in the upper right pic is the reflection of the bulb against the chrome. this entire job took a couple of hours because it was the first time i attempted something like this and i had no step by step to do it with. if i had to do it again, it would take about 1hr to 1.5hrs.

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/106705/a6_graphic_copy2.1.t.jpg"></center><p>thank you. it was actually an accident turned good. i initially took apart the headlight to clean and buff the plastic, but when i went to clean the chrome (since the assembly was open), it went downhill. NEVER USE CLEANSER OR ANYTHING IF UR GOING TO CLEAN THE CHROME!!!! JUST A CLEAN MICROFIBER CLOTH!!! LIGHTLY!!! Audi seems to have a thin layer of chrome paint to cover the inside of the headlight assembly. and it doesnt seem to like windex. the windex ate right thru the finish and stripped it right down to the plastic. so i spray painted the damaged part black, and repeated the same to the other headlight. HIGH TEMPERATURE SPRAY PAINT, used mainly because xenon headlights get hot, and i dont know how well traditional spraypaint holds up to that heat.

i'll go take one now. your gonna have to excuse how dirty the car is, lol. too much rain to waste time cleaning the car.

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/106705/clearblackmod5.jpg"></center><p>head on its a little difficult to see unless you know what ur lookin for. it looks better at angles. the reflection of the bulb onto the chrome makes appear as if the hazard reflector is still present. maybe thats how its passed inspection. or maybe its the color of the bulb itself.
