You mean...how many don't regret buying it? *raises hand* I love my friggin rocketship!
Even tho it threw a CEL today for the first time in about 1 year! Looks like by Bank 1 O2 Sensor just took a dive. Called, ordered and will be in next week.

Regret my 03 A6 3.0q
because it was 3.0. should have gotten a 2.7 or 4.2. it had alot of irritating issues.
otherwise, I love my Avant. same engine, but it feels much more powerful. i think hans slipped in a special program at the factory.

I wish I bought the 2.7T vs. my 2.8. Initially it was a money pit, but now it's sorted out and
drives great. When I bought mine, I was looking for a fairly inexpensive and classy and sporty ride. While the acquisition cost was very reasonable, maintenace has been expensive. I'm sure I could have done a better job picking one that was better maintained, oh well live and learn and pay.
I've replaced all of the following in 2 years between 71k and 80k miles:
control arms, tie rod ends, timing belt, ribbed belt, water pump, rotors, pads, entire abs system, valve covers, one axle, oxygen sensor, and 2 tires and a bunch of minor stuff.
I'm hoping that it's all new now, so it should be good for awhile. I thought of trading it in for a 3.5l charger, but the Charger's handling felt too vague compared to my Audi. Since I put so much into my car, and I'll never get it back, I've resigned to the fact that me and my A6 will be together for awhile.

I love the style comfort and the looks I get! They think my '98 A6 is 2 yrs old
it's not a hot rod but it does what I want it to do - drive great and so far (touch wood) not too expensive (If you compare it to other cars it is not that bad!!)
