My Maf missing it's wire??? I removed.....
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/128485/maf_pic1.jpg"></center><p>the maf insert out the the housing, for a cleaning in 91% alcohol, and noticed on the side of the insert it looks as if a wire is missing. Am I wrong? well heres a picture, let me know! Thanks guys. -Jaime

Generally commercial Ethanol is not safe to drink.
Using the water is driven off using another solvent, often Benzene, so that even with 99.9% pure Ethanol the other 0.1% will be a mixture of water and some other solvents : methanol & benzene usually. It doesn't take much methanol to harm you and benzene is worth avoiding in any quantity.

They have a side shot view. You can clearly see that theres a wire on it. lock plier and had at it. The screw was thick enough to grip and turn.
