Won't start!
Battery is fine, starts my 1966 Mustang with no problem. No corrosion on the battery posts, there's just nothing but the usual clicks when I turn the key to start.
So, does anyone know if there is a way to test the switch without tearing it out? I'm assuming there is a starter solenoid somewhere along the line as well; anyone know where that is located? I'd like to test that too.
Any other ideas would be appreciated.
I also found a VW site that has some pictures of a replacement on a 1998 Jetta, link below. Has anyone tackled a switch replacement that could let me know if this is similar to my 1999 A6?
Thanks for any help,

When you turn the key to the "start" position do you get power to the starter solenoid? If you jump the solenoid will the car start? Is the car in Park? Did you try in Neutral?
Plenty of things to check. Diagnose first, then fix. ;-)
