Driver's side front wheel noise isolation

The little piece sticking out of the plastic on the spring is a piece. I think that the spring rusted and broke or something?

This is a problem that s been driving me nuts. Didn't want to STFA cause I am lazy. Sue me. Anyway, check out the vid, should i just pull the piece out?

Anyway, maybe its time to get some springs!

Looks to me like the rubber spring perch isolator is out of place, not properly under the spring...

No clue about the little piece of metal, but it's not a part of the spring.

I love fast, free help?

The spring shattered, I pulled out the piece, the noise is gone, and now I have to replace the spring.
