2002 AUDI A6 3.0 NEED HELP!!!
Hey,
I have a 2002 Audi A6 3.0.... I should have thought when i got it that maybe getting the 2.7t would be a better idea considering i might want to mod my car.
I have been looking everywhere for a new exhaust and chip and cold air intake for my car to add some HP. Anywhere know where i can find these?

Re: na car....not going to get any major hp gains...exhaust, you have many choices....
Do you have links/model numbers i can use to find cat back systems or exhausts? or even anything that can add HP? i cant find a single thing.

feeling kinda stupid
couldn't find much. Im probably just being an idiot considering im new to AW. Im also a new car lover. Dont know much about cars but i love to drive them. ANyone have a specific link?

welcome, the 3.0 is a bit weak for power hungry people, but it's still a good engine. but if you want to mod, your options are limited and there are very few pre-done mods. I'd suggest looking into swapping your mufflers with some magnaflows, and putting sway bars on the car (H-sport makes a good set). beyond that, I'm not aware of much. by the way, what area are you located in? there may be a local that might be willing to help/talk in person. we do have a great group here.

as said earlier, N/A car, even if you were able to gain 5-7 hp at the top end, you woudl loose torqu
while modding and opeining air intake / Exhaust.
Spend the same amount of money on suspension and make it go faste rin turns, wayyyy better than straight line speed

i go to school in Rochester, NY. and i live in Chappaqua, NY in the summer i guess you can say. Anyone know anything near those areas? would love to add some HP to my car. Also, mufflers wouldn't add power would they? I mean id love to get 25+ HP in the car for under $1,500.
