Post how many miles after the repair did the failure occure?

What part failed (Tensioner bolt)

Who was the part bought from?

Default Water pump from the ECS kit. GO TO THE DEALER TO BUY PARTS or even
better if an indy shop is doing the work have them buy it. IMO

Default Suggest you add "Who installed it?" to the survey.
I bet these tensioner roller bolts that are failing are overtorqued.

Default audi mech said it didn't matter plastic or metal both have disadvantages, just have to shoot the dic
e and hope you get a quality manufactured part.

Default unless your putting on 60-70k per year the belt should not fail i would be very unhappy if my belt f
ailed after 1 year.
