To Control Arm Kit Or Not?

I will very soon have the car in for new shocks & H-sports. The car just turned 68K. I was contemplating buying the Febi Control arm kit from PUREMS and having that done around the same time.

I currently have no symptoms, and plan on gettin rid of the car in another year or so. I'd hate to drop it off at the indy and have him tell me xx arm is shot xx joint is loose and then have to wait for the kit and pay AGAIN for labor.
I figure while he's doing the control arms it wouldn't much if any more for the shocks/sways.

Am I worrying ahead of time @ 68k ?

Dunno that you would save that much on labor now. Is he saying you will?

Check the control arms before it goes in.

If the bushings and joints are tight and the bushing aren't full of cracks, forget.

Personally, I'd skip the mods on something you won't have that long...or at least skip the shocks.

If its not broken..don't fix it....

Unless you "feel" or hear noises and steering lag then leave it alone. Especially if you are selling it in a year.

I just did the control aresm and all Tie rod ends..I have 135K on it and I felt the play and lack of response.
