Ecc-unit !
Hello !
I have tryed to find information regarding a problem i have on my Audi here but not found or haven´t looked properly.
I have a Audi A6 2,4 Avant Yearmodel: 2001.
The problem is with the ECC-unit. When i start the car up the Display and all the little lights on the buttons are blinking.This can go on for a while,and then stops and goes on again. If i gently push somewhere on the panel it stops and all is working as it should.And when i release my finger it starts again. The ECC-unit is always working even when it blinking so it is somekind of contact problem for the lights. Question : Is the panel that holds or are around the ECC-unit easy to take off ? Are there any others here in this forum that have a similar problem.The numbers that shows the set temparature is not blinking. Could anyone help me ?

My guess is "ECC" stands for electronic climate control"
...if that display is fried, you will likely have to replace the entire unit. Contact an auto dismantler like Shokan or Dad's to find one, or pay lots of $$ at the dealer for a new replacement.

yes the ECC-unit is for Electronic Climate Control. Sorry that i was unclear on that.
Ok i will look into that on ebay or contact an auto dismantler. Or last, to the dealer if i`m in the mood to pay .
