Default Is it true? I'm told that Audi does NOT make the interior trim piece without the two sun shade hooks

for my rear passenger door. I find that incredibly hard to believe. So before I call bull****, I'd like to query the masses. Oh yeah, I got my girl back. She looks good. Thanks.

Are you referring to the hooks in the rear door windows?

Yes. There are two of them held by screws. I can't find that set up in my Bentley manual.

Default Cars that did not have the sun shades did NOT come with the hooks. My car does not have hooks, and

I know that when BD installed the rear door shades in his 4.2 he had to install the hooks himself.

Thanks. So is it safe to say that it appears that I have the wrong part.

Default The hooks screw into the metal door frame above the window...

Here is a picture of what I pirated out of my former car...

The part number seen on the back does not register with worldimpex.com or the ETKA. However, the ETKA says 4B0-861-337-B-01C, $6.44 on worldimpex.com or retail of $7.46

my writeup on the install

Default Hey BD. Right. I have them installed, but I don't have or want the shades. Do I have the wrong door

frame or just an over eager repair shop who took the liberty of installing them. It's not a big deal. It's just not the same as the other doors.

Default There is no different part number for the inner door frame...

only different part numbers for sedan vs. avant, and sedans equipped with armor glass.

You should have them order you a new one, have it done right....no hooks, and no holes.

You think the A6 is a heavy car now? Try adding the armor glass and panels! Yikes!
