Yeah... My "pup" is getting old as well. It all comes down to what you feel is the best
thing to do for her. No one else can make that decision for you. It'll be a tough one, but it is one you must make nonetheless.

Just went through this 2 weeks ago.....this is tough
Our family had a 13 year old Boston Terrier--Mandy. She was a bright and kind dog.
She had Cushing's Disease which was well managed, but it took its toll. She was at the vet's office very often--my dad and me did everything humanly possible.
You know when it's time....and the dog will kinda let you know too.
I held Mandy in my arms, and the vet did his thing. She had a private cremation service, and is back with us.
It sucks hard....very hard but I understand how you feel. You don't want them to suffer.

It's time to do the right thing for her. It is sad for you but suffering for her.
My wife and I have 7 cats and a dog. we recently had to make the decision for 2 cats. It is tough when they've been part of the family for many, many years. My wife had our Golden Retriever cremated and her ashes and collar are on the shelf in the living room.

What a horrible thing... so sorry... I am a huge animal person (even volunteer at shelter)
Doing what is right for the dog is best, no matter how hard. I dread the thought of it, and the heartache is aweful, but consider it one final favor for the pup.
