x-pipe or h-pipe for 4.2 exhaust?

hey guys im getting my custom exhaust done this weekend and wondering if i should go with an x-pipe or an h-pipe?

why don't you try without the pipe first. you might like the sound in the cabin!

Someone on the A8 forum just did this >

hmm well i have a stock x-pipe in my car i'll just cut the mufflers out first and see how it sounds

x-pipe would be my choice.

I have the X pipe removed on mine....

with the stock mufflers. Maybe a little more growl, but it feels a little smoother. Considering just cutting the mufflers and doing straight pipe. It didn't sound that bad at the exhaust shop when they did a comparo for me.
