OK, I've STFA and posted on the suspension forum w/no luck- has

anyone here put/tried to put an Allroad air ride suspension on an A6? i would think it would be possible without being exorbitantly expensive or difficult, and the height adjustable features could be pretty convienient. Any help or opinions are welcomed-and yes, I know what I'm opening myself up to with that statement, LOL

my question is why?

all the issues the ar people have with the airbag suspension, you'd be better off getting a sport suspension, co's or shock/spring setup

I guess I like the idea of the height adjustability , I know...

that air suspension systems like Air Ride Technologies work well and have some advantages over traditional systems, and I thought that an Audi designed system might adapt easier- it's not like people here haven't done more radical mods for no reason other than "I like the way it looks", so I figured I'd ask.

Have you talked to the guys on the alloard forum about what they think of this idea?

Many of them convert to coilovers due to reliability issues with the air suspension.

Thanks for all the input- I guess when I make the upgrade I'll stick

with one of the conventional setups. I don't like the idea of taking up 1/3 of my trunk with the Air Ride systems comressor, tank, etc. I will probably go with one of the good height adjustable options, like the one suggested here.
