Default Weekend detail out, larger issues loom ( boring tale inside...)

A Holiday Weekend in the Shop

Having recently done an alignment, our hapless protagonist was dismayed at what appeared to be slightly uneven and irregular wear of his BFG KDWS tires.Zealous in his pursuit of proper inflation, he verified 34 psi at each fill-up, relieved to note no loss of pressure (scant comfort during the weekly tithing to the high priests of petroleum).

Countless hours of studying the Archives of the Oracles of the Four Rings led him to understand that his suspension was somehow afflicted, perhaps succumbing at last to the plague that is rumored to infect every road in Pennsylvania.

Soon, the problem grew worse, and prudence demanded a pilgrimage to the shop.

There, during the installation of new Sumitomos,
many things were confirmed, and one revealed.

1. The left front wheel bearing and TRE were no longer road-worthy.

2. Telltale moisture gave mute evidence of a strut problem.

3.Finally, for the 3rd time in two years...

.

.

.

.

The %$#@&%^* left front BBS RC was cracked!

Here ends the third-person rant.
Thank you for indulging my venting.

Have a safe weekend!

I've noticed the same thing. I'm in the Pittsburgh area; lots of rough spots here.
