Default How well do the Audi aftermarket rear door blinds hold up long term?

I've read the write-up by Mamizana, but I wonder how they hold up after a few years of use.

Can you run down the interstate @ 80 mph with the blinds up and the windows wide open?

Do kids shread them? The wife bought a Babies-R-Us set and one has already been torn in half.

Default They won't pass your 80mph test

If they do pass that test, I'll be shocked and will eat my hat. The air pressure would suck them out of the window, at which point the wind would get on the inside of them and rip them apart.

Seriously...I don't believe they were designed to be used with windows down -

Default You need these

<center><img src="http://www.vectorbd.com/users/jpl/vwnet.jpg"></center><p>but mounting them will be problematic;-)

It's the only stuff designed for high speed open glass.

Babies probably shouldn't be exposed to 80mph winds anyway ;-)

It slots in at the dash, and no doubt has a seatbelt type vertical clip at the back.
