changed oil and filter today, probably should have let the engine cool down a little more...
because usually I try to lessen the flow of the oil so it doesn't overwhelm my oil catch pan (it has a little hole). well, today i couldn't keep the plug up there without burning my fingers, so i spilled a little oil. like half the frickin crankcase worth. what a mess. had to degrease teh garage floor.

If it makes you feel any better, my buddy forgot to put the bolt in the oil pan and filled it
5 qts of oil ended up all over my parents drive way. Needless to say he was never allowed to change his oil at my parents place again.
