Lug bolts sheared off...
...Coming out of a tight 275* onramp of spirited driving, my front gets strong shakes. Pull over, just to find two of my front driver wheel lugs completely sheared off and fell out (with the broken part of thread still in the hub, and sheared right at the hub). WTF?! What could have caused this? I do re-torque relativelly frequently. I'm also running 10mm H&R spacers.

What are you torqueing the bolts to?
If you over tighten the bolts they will yeild and eventually fail. Other than that the bolts could have been defective.
I had this happen with inner CV bolts that would stretch and bread before even getting to the specified torque. I double checked my torque wrench calibration then tried one of the old bolts and it tightened up fine. It must have been a bad batch of bolts that were made of the wrong material or not heat treated correctly. Poor QC FTL!

Are the spacers hub-centric like the OEM hub and rim?
The OEM wheel fits snugly over the hub and that carries the vertical wheel loads not the lug bolts. The bolts only hold the wheel on in the horizontal direction. If the spacers are not hub-centric they are forcing the bolts to take the vertical load as well.
