Speed question.
i have 235/40/18 tires, running a 38 PSI.
I had a trip to Wisconsin dells this weekend and noticed that if i put my cruise control at 70 mph. The actual speed is 75 mph. I was driving with two friends and called them while driving. The Audi A4 was driving at 75 mph and Infinity FX was driving at 75 mph, while my cruise control was set at 70 mph. The only reason i can see is after market wheels with tires. Can it be such a big difference from 215/55/16 stock wheels+tires?

Having owend 5 audis and 1 vw I can say that VAG cars seem to be off by around 7-8% on the speedometer. The only exception to this is with the a6, or at least my 02 a6 with 235/35/19 tires. It is dead on.
