So how much of a PITA is it to do the vac lines on a 4.2?

So how much of a PITA is it to do the vac lines on a 4.2?
(and I would appreciate serious responses this time..) I opened up the hood to get an idea of what this would involve, and noticed that some of the lines disappear into the depths of the engine bay 
I also noticed that there isn't a lot of slack in the factory lines.. I tried to move one slightly to see another, and the fvcker popped off :P Luckily I was able to grab it with one of those flexible claw tools. Anyways, any insight is appreciated. TIA.
