My god.. I cannot believe how much of an improvement that made. It was well worth the time. I wasn't able to replace all of the lines, but I did replace the majority of them. Just thought I would share my results.

I use it on my bike- what concentration did you use in the A6 ?
Did you put in a full can in like 1/2 tank of gas?
Then did you drive it, or just idle- I normally go for a highway run on my bike-

I sucked half a can through my intake, then shut it off for 20 minutes.
It hesitated for a few seconds, but it eventually started. It didn't smoke at all when I started it up, so I gave it a few revs. Then it REALLY started to smoke 
The next time I fill up, I'll put the rest of the can in the tank.

Seafoam gets rid of carbon/other crap that's built up in the engine..
There's a writeup in the Tech section that you can take a look at. It can be done on turbo cars, but all of the loose crap will go through your turbos. If you're comfortable with that, then go for it.
