2.7 into a 2.8 swap, possible?

How hard do you think it would be to swap a 2.7 tip into a car that has a 2.8 tip Avant? Assuming the 2.7 comes with the engine harness, and the ecu?

The amount you'll pay for the drivetrain alone makes it cost-prohibitive

Even if you do all the work yourself, you're still better off selling the 2.8 and picking up a 2.7

Well i dont think he wants a sedan, it says he has an avant. and there....

are not avants with 2.7TT in the states.

2.7T Avants are rarer than RS6 Avants, even in Germany

There aren't many 2.7T's in Germany. It's a fairly rare combination. It took me a long time to find one. For example, on this particular car site (which is the most popular car sales site in Germany), there are more RS6 Avants for sale than 2.7T Avants.
