POLL: Help decide on next (?)a6
Ok heres my scenario:
Currently own a 1998 a6 2.8 quattro
I love it to death its just too slow
its silver on black (which is my favorite)
has perfect ride height (lowered) 19" privat netz wheels exhaust black out headlights (painted the right way not tinted) lol everything is to my liking but the engine/ trans. I would sell it and save a couple grand more for the bigger/more hp engine but people are telling me im not going to get much over 5k for my car because its almost at 170k. And i just cant sell it that low lol
so to the question
1) since i love it so much should i keep it swap in a manual and do a one off twin turbo? (i consider myself fairly tech savvy and able to do this, the trans will just be a little tough)
doing all that will cost me roughly $3k (after selling the old autoparts etc>
or
2) sell and get a 4.2 and do all the same stuff to it then eventually in years ahead swap in a manual
3) get a 2.7t 6 spd and deal with the SAP, TBB, etc etc. lol
p.s I am getting into carbon fiber work too so all will go on a diet sheet metal wise once purchased.
