Does This 2005 3.2 Have Xenon or Halogen Headlights?

Does This 2005 3.2 Have Xenon or Halogen Headlights?

<center><img src="http://www.schalliol.com/forums/a6/a6front.jpg"></center><p>I'm looking at buying my first Audi, a 2005 3.2 Quattro that I'm told lacks Xenon headlights, yet has a sunroof, Bose audio system, and wood trim. I can see in the pictures that it has the three latter items. If it has these items, it has three of the four items in the Premium package from the 2005 option listings I've seen. Further, I don't see that you can get these three options outside the Premium package. The 4.2 has satellite audio packages that include the Bose audio, but those packages don't show available on the 3.2 in 2005.

So, my question is this, must this car have the Bi-Xenon Lights? Whether or not this can be answered by the information provided, can someone tell me if the pictured car has the Xenon or Halogen headlights?

I'm guessing it has xenons. You might want to try the C6 forum though..

Aside from the fact that this forum is for the previous generation A6, your answer is...

...according to what you've researched, the data on Audiworlds site confirms that the only way to get those other options is with the Premium package which includes the Bi-Xenons.

I am fairly sure the halogen lights have an open reflector rather than a propjector style lamp.....

unit, so, from that it looks like it does have xenon lights.

If it has the adaptive option it could well have led rear lights as well, or it would have in the UK.
