My car did several weird things today but one kind of spooked me...

Firstly the brake pad light came on and I just replaced them in August and have only put about 4000 miles on the car since. I am almost positive it is the connectors or something of that nature I'll pull everything apart this weekend when I do the oil change. But the most important one is that when I went out to my car tonight, after I started it up it beeped and the ABS light came on and the brake light was flashing. It went out after about thirty seconds. Should I be worried or was this just a hiccup. Thanks for your help,

Did you check the brake fluid level after you changed the pads?

Yes, the guy I bought the car from overfilled it so when i pushed the calipers back in

it came out the top of the brake fluid reservoir. I'll check it again just to make sure.

Is the car driveable right now or should I refrain if possible.

Drive it, but know that ABS and EDL are not functional when the lights are on.

This affects quattro, brake bias and anti-lock.

STFA for "module master" or "BBA". Both are good, but it makes sense to use the one closest to you. MM has a good video on removing the ABS control unit to ship it in for repair.
