n00b in southern california
Hey guys/gals just making a short intro, i should make it tomorrow i guess so i can take a decent picture of the car, i'm sean 22, a year back picked up an 01 a6 4.2, drove it for the last year and recently started doing research as to what i actually have, it's a nemo blue 4.2 quattro, from what i tell it has the cold weather package, only have recently done a couple things to it, clear corner mod (pita), recently resprayed the front grills/fog light trims flat black including the rings (left the quattro badge chrome), debadged rear minus the rings, and resonator/muffler delete for the exhaust, i like it but a little too much drone, so i'll be picking up some mufflers for it in the near future. It seems everyday i find a new gadget on it, really enjoying the car aside from the mpg but not a huge deal my last 3 cars were all mustangs that i would drag race at the local 1/8th and 1/4 mile. This is turning into more of a tangent than anything. Was wondering if there were any Audi World folks in my area, every once in a while i see a really clean silver c5 4.2, the drive looks over every time so i know he's an enthusiast. My car has 75k and i'd like to get the timing belt/water pump/tensioner service done, looking for a reputable shop if anyone knows of one. Guess that's it for now, take care - Sean

buggah! didn't realize there was a local forum, thanks, learn something new everyday.. took a couple quick pics, it is absolutely filthy but i plan on clay/wax tomorrow
hmm having some issues, i've never been on anything but v-bullitin type forums

*edit* i'm in Whittier, couple blocks away from Turnbull canyon if anyone's familiar with the area, i get to hear all the honda drifter guys crashing at night
