Riddle me this: What can Johnny expect to pay for a full set of tie rods and assoc. hardware?

Steering is getting really bad. EXCESSIVE play in the wheel, bump steer, etc. TIA.

sounds like full Febi CA and TRE set, w/aluminum upright, $600+ for parts.

Lot less if you only need Tie Rod Ends. TRE's alone are, what, $25-50 each, inner tie rods are $46 or so from purems.com

What makes you think you need tie rods? Are you inner tie rod end ball joints loose?

Extra play. I can move the wheel a good 1.5-2" without it moving the tires.

If I hold my hand on the left front tire and turn the steering wheel, I can feel/hear a light clunk before the wheel starts turning.

Get the Febi Bilstein Kit from PureMotorsports

I'm having the whole thing done right now and I got the kit from Pure Motorsports. The Indy Mechanic who is doing the work is experienced at doing it and he was impressed by the kit. The whole thing is under $600. If you do it, do it all in one shot and be done with it.
