Just wanted to say thanks to everyone posting info on removing interior trim, just finished!
everything came off easily with the exception of the e brake piece, which I broke 
so i will be getting a new one.
All the parts are being refinished piano black and should be done in about a week. I'll post the finished product.

That brake lever trim is a true PITA. There is no good way of explaining how to remove it...
....but it does help to see how the part is "trapped" wheh the rear vent is removed and you look in from there.
