Am I missing something here (fuses)
I am planning on heading down to providence this weekend to be with my girlfriend so I was doing the regular pre-trip check/maintenance...
Oil Levels - CHECK
Washer Fluid- Filled and CHECK
Coolant- CHECK
PS Fluid- CHECK
Hmmm there is no current going to my cig lighter... I need to ensure tune-age on my ride down! So I pop the panel off the inside of the drivers side door and I go down the chart looking for the cig lighter- not there, must be under the hood! But then I notice that fuses for things such as my transmission are missing. Is it suppose to be like this?

hmmm...
my 2001 2.7T had a few empty spots as well. Without my manual in front of me, I do not know what the difference is between the empty spots on your panel vs. mine.

Are there metal contacts in the empty slots on yours??? Some empty spots are truly empty, mo wiring and no metal leads in those spots.

well, if you have a quattro you don't have ESP.
I don't know about the navigation fuse however (I don't have the nav option).
