Shopping around for a replacement car, kind of.....

Came across this "masterpiece" one Ebay. I don't know what goes thru peoples minds. Must be some kind of sickness. The buy now price is hilarious. GS, very nice cars especially the 400 or 430 but buy one
WITHOUT the aftermarket "fake" wood on the center console. It seems like a lot of the GS's have the additional fake wood in the center. Did you ever notice?
In addition, very smooth ride. Damn quiet car. Never any rattles or squicks. Plus the nice V8-powered motor. Cool Car.
But, I wouldn't replace A6 with it. Take a look at the 2000-2003 Bmw M5 or 1999-2001 Mercedes E55 AMG. They seem to be selling at bargin prices these days. Also, the E55 was recently tested among the "BEST USED HIGH PERFORMANCE CARS UNDER $20K"

I want power and reliability, Lexus GS fits the bill
Sister has one. Going into 4th year. I told her not to buy a warranty when she got her GS300. ZERO problems so far. Warranty would have run out last year.
I'm trying to find a GS400 for under $8K with under 90K miles. GS430 is out of my price range. I want V8 power but at a strict budget so it's a challenge to finding one

400-Series is just as good. No really big differences between the 430
but the price. They both share the same 300HP V8 Motor. I do not see a point of buying a younger model that ONLY costs more. You'll like the GS400. They are damn reliable too. Plus almost motionless power. What? You get lots of power, but you won't feel much. Very quiet car.
