Thanks for the pointers and comments for timing belt change and suspension .
One question though. There was a lot of lifter/ valve train noise for the first 5-10 seconds of initial cranking (I did do an oil change while I was in there) and the car cranked over and ran and has been fine for the past 400 miles. Is this noise common?
I want to add one or two items/cautions to the standard list. The timing belt covers are brittle don't drop them or bend them very much when messing with them. I think that the o-ring for the washer needs to be replaced when reattaching the hose on the bumper to the feed line. I suggest this.
Next on the list of thing to do, replace the passenger side outer CV joint boot, replace the shocks and springs, finally do a rear brake job. I'll be ready for another 80K.
Thanks again for the info and help.
2. Your shocks should go far longer than 80k
3. your springs should last forever, unless you want a different ride height or spring rate
4. 8 hours for everything,? you're pretty quick for a first timer.
