Just installed RNS-E with dvd player. Very cool. Check it out.

I didn't install the remote eye sensor I just use the head unit controls.It's got a usb port also.

well done- did you just put in the RSN-E as well, or just added DVD?

I installed the Nav about 2 weeks ago. The dvd package showed up today.

Looks great...how much cutting of the glovebox was involved to fit the DVD player?

I had considered that location, but the 4.2 has this huge control module for the steering wheel memory behind the glovebox right behind that area where you installed your player.

Oh, and nice boost gauge...

I just had to cut enough for the back of the player to stick out about half an inch.

The player is pretty small. It almost fit completly inside the glove box. I read your write up on your install and was relieved to see there was plenty of room behind there. I'm glad I can control the player through the nav unit and steering wheel, wasn't sure where I was going to put the remote eye.
