temperature 'rage'?? My oil doesn't get angry....but it does range from
zero degrees to roughly 225 degrees at highway speeds. Lately, with the cold weather, it seems to be more like 200 degrees (highway).

thermostatically controlled, I believe. Mine sits at 225 unless
outside temp gets around 100F and I'm on the highway for several hours..it still stabilizes at below 250.
