It never ends...
Got off the highway today, driving through town... all of a sudden low oil pressure warning light comes on and alarms sound. "Oh ****!" I think. Thankfully I am turning right onto a road w/ a parking lot. I toss the car into neutral, aim my wheel at the parking lot and cut the engine... I slow the car down using the parking brake.
Pop the hood- there is oil EVERYWHERE. Literally covering almost everything. I peer under the car- there is a puddle of oil starting to form. I check the oil pan- no cracks, check the filter, on secure... no fire... I remove the engine cover and look in. Seems like the oil is coming from the top of the engine somewhere.
Had the car towed to my local mechanic.
I was on my way to buy a pair of Ray Bans... guess I wont be getting those. It never f*cking ends...
