Same here. I think this is due to good synthetic oil.

-25, and both of my 145k+ cars fired up. Neither was particularily happy about it..

Default Amen on the synthetic...and keep it fired up for at least 20 minutes, drive somewhere!!
Worst environment for oil..condensation, etc.

Default My cars ran for a good 15 minutes before driving anywhere. And they
still were really stiff and resisted moving.

Default Yeah.. weather in MN reminds me of WHY I left MPLS in 1970; -40F Jan 1970
Had a 65 Chebby Impala sport coupe w/283 2V and powerglide trans, no A/C, drum brakes, and a 1500W tank heater for the engine....didn't need a battery heater, synthetic probably not available (Al Amatuzio started Amsoil 72 IIRC).

Global warming, whatever, it's great to see some cold weather again. Or not.

It's a balmy -5 (- 21 wind chill) in Pittsburgh. Car doesn't seem to mind.

Default -11 here...cold enough that one of the rear mudflaps came partially off...
...when a quarter-sized piece of the fender liner where the mud flaps attaches to broke out...
