Electronic Issues & Such
Okay. I need help. I have a 1998 Audi A6. I love my car. However its getting old and has issues....recently the brake light came on and appears it the collision light just above the trunk. One LED light is out. Do we have to replace all? can we not replace and get beep to stop and light to go off? also, cruise no longer works if head lights on??? thoughts?? when you hit the brake the left front park light comes on? thoughts.. by the way this all happened in two days after headlights repaired and oil change?

they aren't LED's actually, just plain jane filament bulbs. Replacable via dealer..
do NOT buy direct from them..8$ a bulb! 80$ to replace 10 tiny lights? at dealer cost they should be 2$ a bulb or so.
btw, buy 10 of them, and replace them all. 1 out will lead to the rest blowing out within a few weeks, ppl warned me and then all 10 started to blow out! Use gloves cause they get honkinly HOT in your hands. i used a heavy backpack to add weight to the brake pedal to cause my brake lights to turn on btw..
to replace, simply lie down backwards in the trunk and look up, you'll see a hole. reach in, grab the strip and pull it out of the cheapo clip ant they come right out in a plastic case.
