License Plate Screws

...I've posted on this before.

I'm looking to add a license plate cover. The factory screws are too short. So I went to Lowes to pick up some longer ones but the ones I got rusted in one day... Pfft.

So, now I'd like to find some nylon equivelants.

1) What's the correct size #6 metric size sound right?

2) Any online store that sells the right size nylons?

Please help! I buy beer. ;-D

Better yet, an aluminum solution ...

This morning I noticed that my license plate bolts were also rusty. I need to pull one to determine thread size and length, but I was going to use an anodized aluminum socket head cap screw from <A HREF="http://shopping.netledger.com/s.nl/c.ACCT40184/sc.8/category.54/.f">RaceBolts.com</a>. If it's an M6 bolt, you can take your pick of silver, black, blue, gold, red, or purple anodizing. I've bought quite a few titanium fasteners from RaceBolts.com for our race car.

I love my black Nylons... They are black and look like they have been powder coated.

Size is M6x10 ...

just checked the rusty ones on my '01. You might try Lowe's or Home Depot for a plastic version, I'll probably go with anodized black aluminum from RaceBolts.
