Update:HELP! Dealer says I need a tranny! Codes...
after the Stealer told me last week I needed a new transmision I took it to an independent for 2 and opinion. Showed them PaulW's comments and discussion last week as well as the whole fluid filter replacement. He was impressed by the documentation. Tuesday I spoke with Kurt at AutoSports in MI and he was extremely helpful with his knowledge. Was told today that the pan has been pulled and there aren't any Chunks of clutchpacks or Smeely fluid. At least now the tranny, isn't most likely "toasted".
We're replacing the Input/output transpeed sensors and are going to focus on the electrical aspects due to the instant corpse syndrome.
