Default Front Right Lower Curved Control Arm

Well I pulled everything apart tonight to replace a torn CV boot and noticed that the ball joint on the end of this curved arm was worn and needed replacement. I loosened the bolt on the frame end but when I tried to pull it out of the hole it hits against the body before it can come out.
How is this removed? I can't get the old arm off until this is out.
My Bently CD will not work due to a hard drive crash recently. I tried to install it on my work laptop but it keeps telling me that it is already registered. I'll have to wait until Mon. morning to call them but I need to get the car back together tomorrow.

Default It was a real PITA for me

It was the first repair I ever did to my car. I ended up unbolting the subframe on the right side only and could pry it away from the body enough to get the bolt out.....that is what I remember, but it was over 2 years ago!

However, when I put the bolt back in, I put it backwards as compared to how it was originally installed and had to put the nut through the hole in the subframe to get it started as I recall.

Next time, the bolt will come out easy.

That's the way mine is currently. The nut was inside the frame and the bolt comes out the back towards the body. The problem is that there is not enough space to get the bolt out. It must have been put in with the subframe dropped. I think it would be easire to have the bolt come from inside the subframe with the nut on the outside back.

As I recall, I unbolted a few subframe bolts on the right side, then using a crow bar, pulled it down enough to get the bolt out.

I had to do it the same way. Thanks for the advice. I changed the outer CV boot and lower curved control arm in about 4 hours. A great amount of this time was wasted trying to get that bolt out.
