Resetting the Service Interval Counter

I'm hoping someone who does this more often can help with this-- I've got the Vag-Com on my laptop, but my service manual disc is active on a PC that I can't get to right now. How do I reset (adapt?) the service interval counter? It's annoying (OK, it's a very minor annoyance, I know) to see that service in 1 all the time. I gave 'er 8Q of fresh Mobil 1 yesterday, too. As a side note, I've changed the oil on one helluva lot of vehicles of all types, and never seen a messier one to do than the A8. Can't seem to do it without splattering. Is it me? Thanks, A8 gurus...

Regarding changing Oil: There is a way to make this easier: I bought a special valve that makes an oil change a snap.
(Fumoto Engine Oil Drain Valve)
