I scarfed up some of your pictures and have posted them. If your car is there and you don't want it to be, just tell me and I'll remove it.
I know I need to get Potsie's car with his tinted windows (what color scheme do you have?) and that black one that was just posted the other day with tinted windows.....

Paul, I guess I am somewhat surprised that you thought enough of my pics to put them in your album. I should be posting the DVD install pics soon plus some night shots. This should be SOME ALBUM pretty soon! Can we(you!)do an album on previous years A8`s? Thanks.

Thanks Paul. Sometimes I feel estranged from the REAL forum because I am driving an 04. You guys are in the trenches with the prior years model dropping trannys, modifying brake systems and exhausts etc. and experiencing "life after the warranty runs"! I have learned so much through your posts and the posts of others that I have an "affectionate"(if you will) feeling for ALL A and S8`s regardless of the year. So thank you for the last almost 5 months and I hope at some point to be able to "give back"(and I dont mean a collateral exchange LOL).

I can't believe that I just figured out yesterday that Saber was black
I have no idea why car companies call all of these colors anything but their real name.
I was wondering all along what saber was, now I put the pictures to the colors and it's obvious.
The more I look at those pictures, the more I think that my next A8 might be a 04 versus a 01-03 S8, if they had a short wheel base model in the US, I think that's what I would do.
I also think we'll put a technical section up as time goes along for the 04 A8L (just a new page to get to from technical and maintenance), the first item being the subwoofer fix in the rear deck.

I really wanted a short-wheelbase A8 too.
Originally, my plan was to wait for a short wheelbase S8 here in the states, but I've bumped that plan up a bit (obviously).
Other than the S8, has anyone heard anything definite on future plans for a SWB A8?

Their are two theories out there. A)We wont see it and B)We might see it! Take your pick. Audi does plan on bringing it to the states as early as next year but sometimes plans change.
