Thinking of installing a oil bypass filter system on my 99 a8. Anybody out there ever done this??

I was thinking of adding an oil-air oil cooler, but ...
plumbing would be very difficult.
The 1st pic is the combined oil-water cooler and filter. The 2nd pic shows the oil flow in and out of this assembly thru the O-ring type connection on the back. There just doesn't seem to be any easy way to tap into an oil line for either an oil-air cooler or a bypass oil filter. I'm open for suggestions.

AMSOIL makes an oil bypass kit
I have looked at the Amsoil kit and may still do it. You can find more info at their web site. I would bring oil to the filter from the oil sending unit & route back to the oil pan. There is a perfect place to mount the filter below the air intake filter box.
