Brake Squeal
Hey guys, I tried to search this forum for the problem of having the brake squeal, but no luck. I replace my entire rotors and pads for front and rear of my A8 since July. The brake started to squeal really loud about a month ago. It does not have this problem when the brake is cold. It only squeal when the car is have been driven in the city for about 20 minutes. The problem is very annoying and embarassing. It is really loud when the car almost come to a stop. I also read that if I hit the brake hard a few times should cure, but no luck at all.
The question is "is there any other solution or suggestion to fix this problem?" It's kind of embarassing with this kind of problem with this nice of a car? Any suggestion would greatly appreciated.

Brake squeal isn't a common problem with the A8/S8 ...
Are you using the stock OEM pads? Many (maybe most) aftermarket pads use a harder compound that often squeals.
Did the "brake hard a few times" change the noise at all? This is done to try to remove any glazing that may have formed on the pad. I involves hard braking from ~70 to 10 mph about six times back-to-back (don't come to a complete stop), and then driving for a few miles to let the brakes cool.
