The only reason I saw this was because someone posted it in AWOT.<ul><li><a href="https://www.audiworld.com">https://www.audiworld.com</a</li></ul>
I was already looking at that picture, the lower chain that goes to the bottom sprocket is the chain that drives the shaft for the A/C compressor, alternator, hydrualic pump, etc.
So actually it doesn't look that bad, two chains for the camshafts, one for the lower shaft drive, but see the third chain behind the two cam drive chains?
It appears that they drive the lower cam drive sprockets on the black chain rings. Then it goes out of site low and must then get driven by the crank shaft. So in essence, the crank drives the two black sprockets visible, then this drive another loop for each cam.
Plus there is the one on the lower side that drives the auxiliary shaft.
Very cool.....just figured that out, have been looking at it all day.
